This is us

We met Michael at the very first edition of the Pilgrimage, a little over a year ago. He was riding a super stylish steel Surly Midnight Special, a real favorite in the Massacan spirit. And with his old-school moustache, it was impossible to miss him! Although he often had a slight advantage (and often a few meters ahead), we immediately hit it off. We would meet up in the evening for beers at the Chalet Alpelune, and sometimes on the road.

Uplaa is a little wire-haired dwarf dachshund, almost 12 months old. And Ludo is Uplaa's mother. You follow ? There you go, it's time to tell about this first bikepacking adventure for this adorable duo.

Flo is a guy from the South like us, born between the sea and the mountains, with a bike as his best friend to explore the trails behind the house. But he's not just a bike lover, he's a real nut for everything that rolls: longboard, Onewheel... When he's not riding, he captures magnificent atmospheres with his camera or his GoPro.

Massacan is a big rock who likes to ride a bike a lot. But it is above all the meeting of three friends, Lucie, Matthieu and Thomas. Nothing predestined us to meet and launch our bike brand together. Yet here we are today, the happy co-founders of Massacan.

Massacan is a typo, a name, colors, a logo and pictograms including our family of mascots.
