Miche has been one of Massacan's main partners since the very beginning.
The good folks from San Vendemiano know how to do bike wheels!
We've been using their Gravel wheels since day one on Paula.
With the introduction of Scapada and Carbonara , we obviously had to add the road range to the catalog.
And what about the range? It's extremely comprehensive and relevant. Aluminum or carbon, there's something for everyone.
Here is a video presentation of the range with Grégory Girard, the big boss of Miche, a small summary table and some explanations to help you see more clearly among all these wheelsets.
So there is something for all tastes and budgets.
The common qualities of these wheels are, besides their place of manufacture and their quality:
- The reliability of their hubs
- Tubeless assembly without difficulty
- A really well-placed price
At the entry level, the Race Pro DX will allow you to equip yourself with high-performance and robust pairs at a lower cost.
They share many features with the more expensive models.
You will of course find compatibility with tubeless tires from 25 to 35 mm in diameter, an asymmetrical rim profile and profiled stainless steel spokes.
If you're looking to upgrade a bit, the Syntium Aero is for you. It carries over most of the features of the previous model but adds a lighter, slightly more aero rim, slightly fancier hubs, and straight-pull spokes for added stiffness when accelerating.
Now that we've talked about aluminium, let's talk about carbon!
Watch out! As the youngsters would say, the SWR Evo is a banger!
Basically, you get a pair of T700 carbon wheels. Straight-pull spokes, smooth-running bearings in lightweight CNC aluminum hubs, and a choice of 40- to 50-mm profiles. Not bad, right? And the cost? €1,000. A banger, I tell you!
Want to upgrade? Take a look at the Kleos .
The rims are even more technical with progressive thickness to gain in lightness without compromising rigidity.
They are available in three profiles, have very high-end bearings and are generally lighter than the equivalent profile SWR Evo.
Lastly, the surface finish is glossy. Perfect for seeing yourself in it and realizing how awesome you are.
Come on, for the road (haha), if you want David Gaudu's wheels, go for the Kleos RD . It's the best of the best. The gear used by the world tour pros! RD stands for Race Division
The rim is, as you might expect, even more advanced with a hybrid Toray T700 and T1000 construction for even greater rigidity and lightness.
Bearings are no exception. Ceramicspeed takes care of that. Yup, no less !
The fluidity is fantastic.
Since we're talking about marginal gains, know that there is a small aero cover on the front wheel to reduce aero turbulence.
As I told you, there is something for all tastes and all budgets!
So? Which ones do you choose?

Finding out about wheels is great!
Testing them on our roads is better!
*: If I don't make at least one joke per article I have a pledge.
In reality, the joke doesn't work since Miche is pronounced " Mike " like the mouse.
Okay, since the joke falls through, I'll make another one for you:
Do you know why Mickey Mouse? Because Mario Bros. And then SpongeBob.
Come on, thank you, that’s all for me!
Kisses.
